Professional
I work one-on-one with each of my clients, every step of the way, to personalize a program that will help provide a roadmap which works toward and building a secure financial future.

I am passionate about:

  • Helping them pursue financial security.
  • Educating everyone on the financial planning process
  • Enlightening those who do not necessarily think financial planning is for them
  • Reaching out to women about investment planning and financial planning

Financial planning is for everyone: the couple saving for their children's education; the widow/widower planning for their future; the person working retail; the couple planning their retirement; the young couple planning a family; the family thinking about future generations. The important thing is to plan it well and plan it right. Empowering people about their finances empowers their future. That is what I do.

It is important to me that my clients know my loyalty and dedication to them; that I am there for each and every one of them, and that we have established a secure, honest, and close-knit relationship. Another one of my passions is working as a multi-generation wealth transfer and investment manager, working with three or more generations of a family to transfer wealth efficiently, while having consideration of minimizing Estate Taxes, and helping the next generations with their Inheritance planning. In doing this, we prioritize that the first generation is cared for and that the transfer to the second, third, and/or fourth is transferred efficiently and with the best income tax impact on those generations.

Personal

Born and raised in Woburn, Massachusetts, my roots in Lake Placid were planted when I traveled here as a young competitive figure skater. Spending summers here on the ice made me fall in love with the area, and in 1987, after I graduated high school, I made a permanent move to the town my family and I call home. A fun fact – one of the other skaters that trained on my hometown ice was Nancy Kerrigan.

I live here with my two children, Morin and Cobane. Morin is a graduate from SUNY Plattsburgh in June 2022 with her BFA. Cobane is a graduate from SUNY Plattsburgh in May 2025 with a BS in Psychology. As a family, we enjoy hiking, skiing, and traveling together a few times during the year.

Another Fun Fact...Lake Placid Middle/High School is the only high school in America that was issued a liquor license. It was issued to the school during the 1980 Olympics when the school was used as a press center and more.

Through the years, I have been actively involved in my children's schools, the North Country Ballet Ensemble, Lake Placid Center for the Arts, Songs at Mirror Lake Music Series, Boy Scouts, Zonta Club of The Adirondacks, and other organizations in the Adirondacks. Aside from my family, I am also passionate about animals, arts, and music. I am even an avid knitter and reader when I find the time.
